I'm so in love with chalkboard paint! The possibilities are endless. I made this super easy, super inexpensive Chalkboard wall hanging:
I've had a 16x20 size backer that went in a frame lying around in my stash for awhile now and decided it was the perfect size for a chalkboard. I just painted 3 coats of chalkboard paint, tied the material bow around it and hung it on the wall.
I told it you it was super simple!!!

DeleteWow! I love this! I am fairly new to chalkboard art. I saw your post over @ Someday Crafts. I was wondering if you could paint on cardboard. Is your backing cardboard? Visit me sometime @ www.crosson5.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy! I used the back of a frame, it's more like the stuff that a clipboard is made out of, it's more sturdy than just cardboard but I have found that you can use chalkboard paint on just about anything :) I will for sure visit your blog. Thanks so much for commenting!
